Mobiles We offer top quality mobiles by HYT, ICOM, Midland, Motorola, Relm/BK, Ritron, and TEKK. Each has some unique feature or capability that makes it especially well suited for a particular function or purpose. For Low Band users, the best choices are from Midland, Motorola and Ritron - Midland for the highest power and greatest flexibility, Motorola for high power and performance, and Ritron for affordability and value. HYT is our choice for traditional VHF and UHF and also the Midland ML-3200 mobile at an affordable price. We like ICOM for P25 digital and LTR trunking for both VHF and UHF. For in-plant mobile communications, we favor the ICOM F221S. Low Band 30-50 MHz Mobiles  The Ritron Patriot RPM-050 is a top value low band (30-50 MHz) mobile radio with 60 watts of power, 16 channel capability with scan and all the features you would expect in radios costing twice as much. The Motorola CDM750 is a top quality 60 watt watt 4 channel mobile with the performance and reliability you have come to expect from Mototorola. With a standard 2 year warranty, the CDM750 is an outstanding value. We can't advertise prices on the Internet, but we'll be glad to provide pricing on request. Two models are available - the dash mount mobile for $1,137.50 with 3 character display, and an optional 12 character LCD display model for $1,196.50 for dash or remote mounting. You can add a cross band Low Band to UHF repeater to allow extended portable coverage for an additional $650 to either model. The Titan Series radios are covered by a three year factory warranty. VHF High Band 150-174 MHz Mobiles  The Midland ML-3200 is a great value in a high powered dash mount mobile radio. With 45 watts of power, nothing else in it's price range even comes close! You get a large easy to read LCD display, lots of channels if needed, simple operating controls including a squelch control knob and built in NOAA weather alerting receiver! The price? You get up to 128 channels in a compact dash mount mobile with CTCSS, DCS, 2-Tone paging encode/decode, a 2 year factory warranty, microphone, power cable, and mounting accessories. At just $379, nothing else even comes close. Note: The 70 watt MO-7128 is a new model with specifications similar to the standard 50 watt model shown on the specifications at www.info4u.us/olympian.pdf.  The HYT TM-800 is our favorite all around general purpose VHF radio with 50 watts of power, 256 channels, scan, digital ID, even selective call paging to call all drivers simultaneously or a single driver privately! The ICOM F1721D series is a P25 digital mobile that is fully compatible with the US Forest service and other US Government agencies. The F1721D can operate on both conventional VHF frequencies as well as the narrow band 12.5 kHz operation. UHF Band 450-470 MHz Mobiles  The ICOM F221S is our favorite general utility radio. Our oldest ICOM customer operates a ready mix cement company and has never used anything but the F221S, an 8 channel MIL-SPEC rated 45 watt radio that is built for tough use and reliable operation. If we could only have one mobile radio, it would probably be the ICOM F6061. This radio does it all with both analog and 6.25 kHz digital capability as well as trunking and MDC-1200 unit ID and selective calling. Hook it up to your horn, initiate a selective call and alert a single driver. Operate in the trunked mode for instant channel access, privacy and much, much more. You can start with the $459 analog trunking model and add digital capability later for only $225. Both dash and rear mount models are available (add just $100 for rear mount model).
